One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

Psalm 27:4

Eyes fixed, heart steadfast, on you, oh Lord.

You alone have life, Lord Jesus.  You alone are God, my King.  You alone are Eternal in the heavens.  You alone, my friend, my everything.

Let me seek you in the courses, let me feel you in the night. Let me know you in the darkness, let me hold you in the fight.

For, by you, I can scale anything, and in you, I am alright.  For with you, I hold the darkness at bay within the light.

Surely, your hand is with me, and surely your arm is might.  But, let me but gaze upon you, and with my eyes, see your light.

In your temple, all cry holy, and in your gaze, all is sight, but let me only look upon you, for then there is no night.

Burn in me with a mighty passion, and loose your mighty river.  That all your foes round about you, might know your sovereign fight.

My beautiful passion, my precious Lord.  Everything that you have I desire.

For you alone are my glory, and you alone are my right.  Only let me see you this night.

I give all I have, to the one Lord Jesus Christ, the true, the Eternal, and the holy.

Let your power overwhelm me, and the torrents consume my fright,

until I no longer see anything,

lost within your light.
