A Synopsis of the Book of Revelation — Introduction

This is a draft (2/12/2012) of my current approach towards the book of Revelation.

This approach takes what many might call a “mild-preterest” viewpoint, keeping in the tradition that the Bible says what it means, and means what it says.

At the outset, this is a supernatural encounter that is recorded.  Events of the actual encounter are written down, and when an event happens to John, it is historical, and when he sees a vision, it is the revelatory content, which is either a past, present, or future event, in accordance with
