Then he believed in the LORD; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.
Genesis 15:6
Abraham believed, and God called it righteousness in him. This is the basis of our justification in the cross of Christ, for it is by faith that we have access to this Grace called Calvary (Romans 5:2). Without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6), for one must first believe that God is, and that He rewards those that diligently pursue Him.
This is the picture of faith. When Abraham, then Abram, heard God speak, and God showed Him the stars in the sky and that his descendants would be like unto them in number (Genesis 15:6), he took God at His word. Later, when Abraham was told to sacrifice his one and only true heir, Abraham believed that God could raise him back from the dead (Hebrews 11:19). Faith saw the promise of God’s word, and grabbed a hold.

Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.
Matthew 13:12
One sad thing I see in the interpretation of Matthew 13 is a large branch of thinking that rationalizes that Jesus was saying that the Kingdom of Heaven is somehow corrupt, not holy, or not pure. Because of lack of understanding, or partial revelation (which we all must deal with — 1 Corinthians 13:9), many have assumed the Jesus meant somehow that the Kingdom of Heaven was itself divided.
In the case of Matthew 13, most of the parables start with the phrase “The Kingdom of Heaven is like…”. The Kingdom is likened to 7 things. Some see believe that because they cannot find a species of mustard plant that grows from a very small seed into a large tree, that Jesus must have been implying some abnormal growth. In addition, with parables such as the leaven which a woman hid, they assume that because in MOST of the references to the leaven in the Old Covenant are a reference to sin, and that sin was outlawed in most of the sacrifices, that Jesus obviously couldn’t be saying that the Kingdom was like leaven. However, Jesus also plainly said in John’s gospel that unless you ate His flesh and drank His blood, you would have no life in you (John 6:53), a highly detestable practice in Jewish custom. In the course of Jesus’ teachings, the fact that the image was abhorrent because of misunderstanding did not seem to matter to Jesus.

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
Matthew 7:11
It is God’s good pleasure to give us the Kingdom (Luke 12:32). Not some day far away in some millenial reign, but right here, today, at hand, where we need it. When we need it.
Our Father knows our needs (Matthew 6:32). He will give them to us if we are seeking after His interests.

There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.
Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know. There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Romans 3:10-18 (except leading phrase)
Jesus came to show us His way, the way of peace. Peace is peace with God, with men, and within ourselves. The peace of Christ surpasses all knowledge throughout all time and is the force that calms the storm.

But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Matthew 7:14
When it comes to revival, and revival meetings, in one sense, revival is easy… Once the flow starts, the miracles happen, the atmospheres change, the going is good… On another side, we sometimes don’t see a great degree of change in the people that are attending revivals in the short term.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
John 14:6
It doesn’t matter what version you read it in, Jesus is the way, He is THE Truth, and He is the life, the only life. The gospel is the power of God unto salvation for all that believe (1 Peter 1:5).

And the glory which thou hast given me I have given unto them; that they may be one, even as we are one;
John 17:22
We are to be one with Him. Whether or not this is attainable in this life in practice is NOT the question, but to deny that it is theologically the goal would only guarantee that no one would try. You might as well make it your goal, because you’ll get alot further along at it than if you hadn’t.
Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.” Pretty simple, we’re all sinners. But, what does that sin separate us from? What have we fallen short of? His Glory of Course! So, since Romans 3:24 says we are reconciled, it would follow that what we are reconciled to is, of course, His Glory.

The Dream
Daniel 7:1-3
In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream, and visions passed through his mind as he was lying on his bed. He wrote down the substance of his dream.
Daniel said: “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me were the four winds of heaven churning up the great sea. Four great beasts, each different from the others, came up out of the sea.
This is understood as the parallel to Daniel 2. Daniel 2 was Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, this is Daniel’s. While Nebuchadnezzar saw the kingdoms, Daniel apparently sees the spirits of the kingdoms. The four winds church the great sea, and four distinct beasts came up out of it.

If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters—yes, even his own life—he cannot be my disciple
Luke 14:26
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Heaven and Earth will pass away before any one of His words passes away. Many people would like to interpret this passage into obscurity, equating it with similar, albeit, related scriptures, such as this one.

I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony.
John 3:11
One of the tenets of the Gospel is faith. This can mean many things to some people, but a Bible definition goes something like this: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1). While many people claim to have a “faith”, their claims prove to be nothing at all. They are houses built upon sand (or worse), and they have no ability to stand up for the Truth.
